Sublimation is the process of taking special ink and pressing into a garment at an extremely high temperature; requiring the garment to be made of polyester or similar fabric. Sublimation prints don't print white so it's best used on white garments. There are some hacks that can work for cotton and dark clothing. Once a garment has been sublimated, it is "baked" into the garment and won't crack and peel over time. Making it ideal for those garments you want to keep without fading.
